William is a truck driver from Merritt Island, Florida. He found the webinar by accident, nearly dismissed it as a scam over a typo, and signed up anyway. He and Lilia have been married six years and have a three-year-old son.
“Never did I think I could have it all — a stunningly beautiful wife with an MBA, who's frankly way out of my league — and at the same time she wants to follow traditional family roles, exactly what I've been searching for my whole life.”
He nearly walked away over a spelling mistake
“To be honest, I just stumbled upon it online one day after having enough of materialistic American women and their entitlement attitudes. At first, I thought it might be a scam because the word ‘guarantee’ was misspelled. However, something about Joe's genuine and sincere approach caught my attention, and I decided to go for the risk free test drive. Well, thank God I did! Little did I know that this webinar would lead me to the love of my life.”
Six years on
“First I wanted to say my thanks to Joe for putting on the webinar as it has changed my life. Never did I think I could have it all — a stunningly beautiful wife with an MBA, who's frankly way out of my league — and at the same time she wants to follow traditional family roles, exactly what I've been searching for my whole life. Lilia and I have been married 6 years now and we have a 3 year baby boy.”
William stumbled on it online, nearly wrote it off as a scam, and is six years married with a young son.

Hey. Don't stop. Believe. Hey. Hey, Gus. Good new year, and Happy New Year. How does twenty twenty one start for y'all better than twenty twenty, I hope? It's my side of the life is always. It's Sorry. I hijacked you again, honey. But I think you guys are gonna, you know, approve of hijacking and his live spot because we have a very cool, guests with us today. A newlywed couple that you just saw on their slideshow intro They're very cool. And Lily just literally arrived in Florida to meet William. Well, about a week ago or something like that or less. So Yeah. That's exciting, exciting. And guys, why are we, you know, now starting to feature our married couples? You know, the main reason is success.
It leaves clues. And a lot of you guys are embarking on this mission and You know, there's a lot of there's a lot of talk about everything that's wrong in the industry and every relationship that's wrong or PPL that's wrong and not right. And really the best way to go about it, I think, is to study success. Because as I said success leaves clues, and as you heard from two days ago from Steve and Irene, who are about to tie the knot after the k one is done, If you listen to their love story, you will see a remarkable resemblance between them and today's love story with William and Lilia. Okay? So towards the end, we're gonna invite you guys in to ask all your burning questions to a […] married couple.
Okay, to help you guys on your journey. They're they're fantastic people as you're about to see. Okay? So just a couple of announcements about what's coming up. Very cool stuff coming up, and you guys are not gonna wanna miss out on this. So tomorrow, Sunday, January third, ten AM Eastern as always we're starting a really nifty challenge that's fully open to the public. This is cool as shit. Check it up. Have you ever wondered if you can afford, you know, to snag a beautiful Ukrainian wife? I mean, what's the cost in terms of money time. And let's not forget heartbreak if you get it wrong or if you're not educated enough or you blow the relationship. There's a chasm of differences, and it is not easy to build these relationships.
That is the god's honest truth. So you know, it's tricky. Right? I would say many would argue it's almost impossible to get real numbers on on this Okay. You can Google it. Google says between fifteen to thirty thousand to marry a beautiful Ukrainian wife. But, you know, really what is the cost And can you afford to embark on this journey? Okay. It's the question that we're gonna really dive into And I figured the best way, and you tell me if you think I'm right, the best way is to launch a challenge and have actual married couples share their story with us and tell us, Hey, Schoolka, you know, what did you pay? What did it cost you? From, you know, all your expenses, any matchmaking fees. I mean, from from soup to nuts, the immigration to her arriving in your country.
What did it cost you? And we're gonna ask that question to, William and Lilya today too. So you'll you'll hear that from there. So basically, the way I've structured it is it's two camps that do it yourself camp and the agency camp, and they're gonna go head to head and compete. Because there's a lot of do it yourselfers out there that prefer to go it alone and meet ladies however they can, and there's a lot of different ways of meeting someone. In today's, you know, online world, but let's analyze the cost in terms of dollars time and heartache and heartbreak. Okay. And see who comes out on the top, the Victor. Okay. We don't know where this is gonna end up. I have a sneaking suspicion as you can well imagine, but, you know, the numbers are not gonna lie.
And you guys will be able to nominate any married couples. You can nominate them to join the challenge, and we welcome anybody to join the challenge. And you would just email us that info at […], Okay. So the live stream on Sunday tomorrow is called Ukraine marriage challenge. Do it yourself versus marriage agencies. How much does it cost to get a beautiful Ukrainian wife? Okay. Then on Saturday, next Saturday, January ninth, ten AM Eastern as as always, I'm not promise you hijacking my lovelies. Her live stream. And she will talk on what's your topic in? Top five. Tabut topics. You must avoid on the first date with your beautiful Ukrainian women. Or you won't have a second date. That's for sure.
So then, live on Sunday, January the twelfth, ten AM Eastern. I'm having another special guest This just happened like whatever three days ago. Just before we went live on the, on the eve of December thirty first on New Year's Eve, It's a gut wrenching, challenge this guy that just reached out to me on WhatsApp. Faces right now. I asked him to join us in if he would be so, you know, open and vulnerable to share his story with us right now. He's a do it yourselfer. Okay. And basically, let me ask you. This will set the stage. What would you do? Because this is a real question, guys. It's a real serious topic. And it just seems to me the whole industry wants to sweep it under the rug. But, if you're in this dating trenches, you need to be aware of this risk factor.
So What would you do if you're in love with the Ukrainian single mom? And the ex husband legally refuses, which is his right, the children to leave Ukraine. You'll meet Josh. Fifty six. He's from Virginia, and he's in love and he's engaged to thirty six year old, Yanna, from Portaba. And they are facing this huge roadblock right now as we speak as they go through the K1 process. And he reached out to me for my help. Of course, I I have some advice to give, but we're actually hoping that, I mean, there's strength in numbers. Right? Some of you guys out there have been through this and become the victor through this because there's many different routes you can go to try to solve this challenge.
Okay? So that, yeah, that's, what's coming up. So if you haven't already, you don't wanna miss out. Definitely. Subscribe and click the bell notification, so that YouTube will notify you when we go live. That way, you won't miss out. So without further ado, Darlene. Yeah. Let's invite our couple who's recently married, incredible couple. And, it's William and Lilya, And, I just want to say that, it I have very good, feelings about them. And I remember first time when I see William, He was very prepared. He'll watch a lot of our videos, you know, how to act, but ask question. He takes this very serious. And his man of action, and I think it's a key of his result. So let's learn something. Yeah.
Beautiful. And and I will just say, yeah, what William really impressed me out of the gate because I could see, you know, he had basically he had had enough of, what he had been going through And he he was looking for something more out there for him. He and and and he was bold enough to take action and come here totally unbeknownst to him really what he's getting into. And that's what it takes to be successful in this thing. You gotta be bold and just jump into the deep end and swim, baby. So without further ado, let's, welcome our newly wed couple. Hello. Happy New Year too guys. Happy New Year everyone. How was your New Year's down there in Florida yesterday? Well, you can tell him. It's so weird.
It's very unusual, like, how, for me, it's my first mirror outside in the one place. Let's put it that way. Very unusual. It's, the, there are beautiful operations in the neighborhood. There there are districts that do it purposefully for people to come and and enjoy it basically. That brings, definitely Christmas pay it off. Yeah. Yeah. You guys drove around, I think, and looked at some of the -- Yeah. I totally missed that. I so missed that. I wish you guys had that in Ukraine. But we got to drink Samagon instead. So, hey, It's a it's a common. It's a deignoracious. Yes. Yeah. It's a yeah. It's one of, Anna's dad's Luvs. Come on. Okay. I don't wanna make them look like, you know, but it's a special occasion thing.
So, I gotta throw a little bit of a twist in here. So today, the idea is, we're gonna, you know, interview our newlywed couple And first, I wanna congratulate you guys though. You know, you just got married in November and and and William. You came to Kiev. Right? Right. Exciting stuff. And we went we went out for lunch. So congratulations, you guys. On doing something that's really, well, to say a challenge during the COVID pandemic is an understatement. Most people are too great to come under out from under the bed. Yeah. Those sort of also even, sir, all time very makes all our team very happy with all time. Oh, wow. Like, if we do something cool, you know, altogether celebrate. Like, Well done.
I'm very happy when, you know, can be part of this -- Yeah. -- type stories. Exactly. Because in the truth be known, it is quite rare. It's quite rare. That this whole industry creates you know, a married couple. For example, some dismal stats that no marriage agency owner should reveal public, but the truth is, I think it was two thousand and eighteen stats. Approximately, I think it was just under five hundred American men married Ukrainian women in two thousand and eighteen. Five hundred in a billion dollar industry. So a billion dollars was spent by some poor saps, and the result was five hundred marriages. So, basically, you guys just won the Super Bowl. That's what I'm saying. Brilliam won the Super Bowl.
Okay. So I'm gonna throw a newlywed curve ball at today's live stream, and it doesn't even know about that. But I thought we would throw, William. Do you remember the newlywed show? Okay. I I see where this is going. Oh, you saw. Alright. So listen, we we don't have to do this a lot. But if anybody wants to throw a newly wet question in. It's just like an open, mulligan or whatever. It's an open card. You know, we can do it or you can do it. Maybe we'll do it once twice each or if we're both shy, maybe, not at all. Maybe I'll throw one at my wife. Oh, I don't know. No rules. Okay. Well, the idea is just, you know, have a lighthearted fun with this. And also to put us on the spot. So the other thing is, honey, I have she totally doesn't know about this, but I have a proposal for for you.
How about, like, to share the hot seat with William and, Lydia, How about with these questions? We quickly answer it for ourselves too. I'm not prepared. I I I swear I'm not prepared either. I haven't okay. Maybe one or two questions. I thought, well, what would I answer to that? But I haven't put any time into it. So total spontaneity here, guys. Let's get the ball rolling. So you came? Are you kidding? Okay. Alright. She's such a sport. Alright. Who's getting hot. Let's see who's just gonna ask us questions. We can know about each other. Oh, okay. Yeah. I was just playing too with the newlywed game was. Uh-huh. Uh-huh. Yeah. Yeah. So first question, William, what's the funniest memory that you have with your wife.
That you can share. Publicly. Well, I would say it wasn't funny at the time, but on my trip their Christmas last year. Leaving the airport. It was minus it was freezing outside and I just had my, you know, Florida closed eye jeans on a long sleeve shirt, I think. And they will but once you leave the airport, they don't let you back in unless you have, boarding pass or something. So, I was trying to catch my Uber and he didn't speak English and he was on the wrong level and I couldn't explain to him where I was and he couldn't explain where he was. So I was trying to text her. The hip his what he would say is she tried to text me back. And in the meantime, my hands were getting so cold. I couldn't even move them for the phone.
And I was out there about It was about an hour outside. It was two AM in the morning. Yeah. It was it was also really early in the morning. So it was at the time, it wasn't funny, but when you think back when I look back about it, and it's a little bit of a laugh. Yeah. Your youth Floridians are just totally not prepared to come to Kiev in November end of November. No. Uh-huh. But I've I've I've seen worse story. I've had worse stories from clients. Let me tell you, coming from the south specifically Florida. Remember a guy showing up in a sport coat. So you at least had a leather jacket and it was under Cokedo hoodie on it. Yeah. Okay, honey. Question. I work. I don't know. Ideally, when I when we planned our day to meet with children, and then I changed my mind because they realize, children need to sleep.
So I say, jotun final comes without children, and he say, no. And I was like, why no? Like, how how it's possible? And then I say, He can he only wants me to, like, meet with children. And they say but he said no, because I also tried to change the place. And he said no for changing the place because he don't know very situated. But for me, it was like, because this is our children, I'm not interested in work to me. So I was confused for it with them. I realized it's because I I decide, like, meet just, I don't know, like, fifty, five hundred meters from first original place. And he was just I don't even remember that. Oh, there you go. Yeah. But I was confused, you know. Even I don't know because I said, no, you right now, and I was like, standing in the it and trying to to decide what to do, to go on a date, or don't go because you say no.
So Really? Yes. Okay. We'll talk later, honey. And on the newlywed show couples get into, you know, get into spats all the time. Right? You remember that? Yeah. That's all. Yeah. I I guess I'll share mine just quickly because it it just came to mind. This this question I did think about a little in advance. I thought, what's so funny? What's funny? Well, when I met, Anna's daughters at first, I it was an oh my god moment because they both hissed at me like wild Siamese cats. Like this when she introduced me and I thought, oh my god. What is that? They scared the crap out of me. I should I didn't find it funny because he was so much disturbed by that and say, no, they're normal children, you know, they just want to play with you, like, you know, to make you scary, and then you, like, have to run from San You know?
It's like, but then they start with it. Stop doing that. Yeah. Yeah. It was one of those things, that was also, like, well, at the time, it wasn't funny, but now it's funny. And how about you, Lilya? What's your, funniest experience so far with Lilya? By the way, we are while we are talking, there is a funny thing happening. You might hear snoring in the background. That's that's the dogs. The record. I don't know. I think we're it's not a funny story, but we did to have a very good laugh about it. I have a lot of, I would say, I'm thinking a lot how I will fit socially into the United States. Right? And, I was asking William, like, what type of jobs do you have in the neighborhood? Like, you know, which companies I run.
And because it's a Disney, state. Right? We ended up deciding that I might do a cookie monster job for the time. That was very funny. I don't know. Like me, I have, like, I would say it's a job in Ukraine. Right? And then, we were laughing that I'm gonna end up, like, yeah, like, I took him off to spending at the Disney entrance, you know, inviting people into the into the park. But Oh, at Disney. At Disney. Yeah? Yeah. Oh, that's cool. Well, that would be that would be an experience for you, I think, Lily. Your normal series day job in Ukraine. Right? Yeah. So if if you don't get into Nassau right away, this is plan b. Yeah. At least I'll have some fun. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Very cool. That surprises me, but good for you.
Kudos. That's cool. I remember William Fanny, feedback from the date She said, imagine, Lilia, Lilia, even, even, you have the administrator name. Yeah. He's he's, like, Lilia, even laugh from my stupid jokes imagine, like, and I'm like, really, you know, state. Like, I I I was very nervous. You know, I make these jokes, but it wasn't fine. But she laughed, you know. It's I do too. I remember that too. I remember that too. So, Lily, I just wanted to tap into that, bright, brain of yours. I know you did a lot of research and there's a lot of guys in in in your shoes or where you where you guys just came through. You were looking at the k one process, versus maybe the the CR one spouse visa instead.
Can you maybe sum it up succinctly, what was the situation? Maybe what is the situation now? And, you know, any advice that you have for guys out there? Yeah, I did a lot of research. I did a lot of, inquiry on Facebook, and I'm now part of wiber group where we have, like, almost a hundred girls from Ukraine, actually, who are in the process of at the k one or CR one or about to apply. So I would say that's, like, very very updated information. Twenty twenty did bring a lot of change into this. K one used to be the fastest process. And, I guess, the most, important thing that people are looking at is would be, how fast the you can get your partner into into the states. Right? Yeah. But due to some Trump, proclamations, k one was kind of put on hold.
They are considered non immigrant visas. And, I would say bigger priority is given to spouse with us now, which is CR one. And this is the one we decided to go for, and we've just applied actually, like, two weeks ago. So for me, also CROne, which is, spouse visa is preferential because, processing times are comparable to fiance visas. Again because of the COVID. But, for the partner who's looking to, be I would say, able to travel and, work as fast as possible when they enter United States, spouse visa is a much that option because you'll receive your gray green card. Like, I would say shortly, once you arrive, and, with k one, it could be that you are waiting for those papers for another half a year or even up till one year now.
Which is which makes it a two year process in in total, I would say. Thank you for carrying that. I know I passed your conclusions on to Steve and he he looked at switching over to the CR one application, but it's everything's already gone through with k one, and they just decided to, continue on that path. But, I know him and Irene are really eager to start their life together too. So, a dilemma. Definitely a dilemma. Thanks for sharing that. So When, William first came, we did a few videos together, and I I asked William William, you know, what would be three tips you have for guys? Based on your experience. So we're gonna play a little video from that. I don't think even William. Actually, it's not even on the channel yet.
We actually lost your videos, William. But we just found them like, recently. And I said, well, let's get them on the channel. So here's William's tips on top tips. How score. How to score with beautiful Ukraine and girls. Don't worry, guys. Let me give you three tips on how to score in Ukraine. First tip. Get the fuck off that on online shit. You don't know who you're talking to. You're paying to paying Boris April letter, reading Boris's emails. Come on. What are you doing? Get over here and meet the women in person. It it's just ridiculous. That's all I gotta say about that. The second tip, come over here and just be yourself. When you meet the ladies, just be honest with him. That's what they're looking for.
They don't care about what you have. They don't you don't have to be a big shot. There's no game over here, like back home in the States. You don't have to be a big shot. Just come over here and be yourself, and you're gonna meet somebody. Point number three, who you're gonna trust? This place will chew you up and spit you out. But Joan and his staff at […] will help you through everything. Like I came for six days, My very first date, we hit it off and have been like this ever since. So how can you not say that spending eight thousand for that kind of relationship, and that short of time is not worth it. So at the end of the day, I couldn't be more happy with this investing than myself and my future.
So […] all the way. What did you think? You look good on camera. I was just telling her, wow, why are they skinny in that picture in that video? It's, I'm kind of, comments around the table at family time during the holidays, I I get in those comments too. I put on a few. Crooked amounts. Right? Yeah. So, I I just wanted to highlight that we both. We have this in common. We both got married in Ukraine. This year and COVID year. Alright. Yeah. How did you how did you guys find, you know, the the experience of getting married in Ukraine. And because again, this is a choice that a lot of guys are facing, you know, getting married in Ukraine, versus getting married in America or wherever else they live.
How did you guys find it? Credibly easy. It was pretty much you just go in, to the registration office and you both sign a paper. And there you go, you're married. That's it. No. There's only no, vowels or no, I've not pronounced you. Just use your paper. See you later. Next. Overly simple, isn't it? Yeah. Do it separate. Yeah. But then you guys made a romantic park and part about it. And then you have beautiful photos there. Yeah. Right. Yeah. So and what did you feel? What did you think about it, Lilia? It was, yeah, I can say it was simple because it was prepared also by me a bit. No, I would say if if the if the couple has a choice to do it in her country being Ukraine or his country being states, I would definitely recommend Ukraine because, we have quite, I would say, quite a straightforward procedure for that.
We did apply for some help of the lawyers because Willie admitted like an immigration clearing statement, they call it. Otherwise, it's, I think it's, like, twenty one working day for it to arrive if you do it like yourself. And we didn't have that much time. Also due COVID restrictions. We couldn't plan a big event because, let's say, until last moment, we didn't know if he's quarantined, if he's, you know, COVID test is accepted, etcetera, etcetera. So, but maybe because it's also my country. I I kind of had a better idea of what we are doing. And that and that certificate, once a tapas then translated. It's, valid for any other country. So I don't think there is a big point, you know, going elsewhere.
Mhmm. Yeah. Unless this is sorry. Unless this is a k one process, where a couple a must then get married inside the United States from what I understand. It's a slick option getting married and paying that, what is it, twenty five bucks or something to get married in one day instead of three weeks. Yeah. And then, the the lawyer, it's a they have an expedited service. Yeah. They do quickly, like, translation. You get this app still document, which usually also takes, I would say, up to ten working days. Yeah. So it's it's worth it. Yeah. So thanks for sharing that guys. So, you guys heard. We're starting something, again, out of the box. So the marriage challenge, basically comparing do it yourself guys who get married, by going it alone.
And then other guys like William here that to decided to seek help and made it happen. It meant really on the first date. Like, that's just crazy, isn't it? It's crazy. And yet, you know, you you you paid eight grand to meet Lilya. So, that's that's, you know, a lot of guys would have different things to say about that, but William, I just commend you. At least I I have the same opinion as you. You know, like, I think, wise people look for, you know, the fastest route to something to getting your goal done. And so I I commend you for that. And I I just I agree with your attitude with that. But a lot of guys don't. So we're doing this challenge to compare about the financial cost the, the cost and time.
And then, of course, heartbreak, if, a guy chooses the wrong path, and then he has to experience some unfortunate situations by choosing a wrong lady or meeting a wrong lady. So, would you guys mind entering into this, marriage, challenge and just, sharing with us, you know, what it cost, item by item. And you don't have to go through the items, but just like the total, And then if you're okay with that, we would put it in the description below this video, like the item by item. Well, of course, there's your your feed a k. Flight from I fly from Miami. And on on a I can get it cheaper out of Orlando for maybe six six hundred something, but it's like a whole thirty hour ordeal. Miami, fly out of Miami on Turkey airlines.
It's more direct. And it's that ticket's about nine hundred. But just I mean, well, it's we can put a it would be a lot of talking just to go through everything, but just maybe could you share the total that we because we did it all. We already prepared for this. Right? Just to include the line by line, in the description below the video after. Is that okay? But what is what we say about between sixteen and seventeen? Yeah. It was seventeen five. It was seventeen thousand five hundred, but we included, kinda I'm trying to really compare apples to apples. We included your opportunity cost of time that that you took off work to come here in total, two trips. Right? So all in all in including opportunity cost with seventeen thousand five hundred.
Right? Right. Yeah. About that. Yeah. Okay. Cool. Thanks for that. We'll just, move on about it. I mean, how do you feel about that investment? I look at it as, how do I say it? Like, I mean, I found my partner for life. So that's it. It the cost of the it's not comparable. Money is not a Exactly. Yeah. Money's not out of pocket. Yeah. Your wife, the one person you spend the rest of your life with, it's really not a keeping a question that Kind of like a no brainer. Right? Right. Yeah. Yeah. Exactly. Okay. Cool. Sorry to put you on the spot there. I realized I was like, oh, way to go, Joe. I I should I should open you guys up to roast me with a question from a newlywed game for that Okay. So what's the next question here?
Do you wanna, next question for William. Because you said it in your video that in Ukraine, there's no game. There's no game in the dating world like there is in America. Can you maybe expand on that a little bit, William? Because, it it's a very heated debate, you know. Guys just think the game is different in Ukraine. But I always say this. There's no game in Ukraine. It's just It's just, face value. Be yourself, but, how did you say that? It's more straightforward. I would say if you Like if somebody you just tell them, you don't I guess there's, like, rules here. Like, if you don't call somebody after your first day for three days and It's it's none of that, none of trying to impress, you know, like it's just saying be yourself.
Yeah. Exactly. Which is really no. It's just straightforward dating, I would say. Yeah. So not putting a mask on not not having to be somebody or not or, place some strategic chess positioning, you know, yeah, pawn to, you know, exactly. Exactly. Okay. So the next the next question is kinda cool. What? What's the what's the medium? You like, you love most about India. Let's see. I think I love most. She's a very she has a very good sense of humor and makes me laugh a lot. Mhmm. She's very sweet kind of animals and and, nice to me. I saw that one coming. She's just all around beautiful person inside and out. So can't really pick one. I say it at everything. Beautiful. That's cool. And and and Lily is now glowing.
I sent ten thousand lots. More often. Uh-huh. So, Lily, I just wanted to ask you this question. Let me just preface it by saying that I always call it you know, fishing in the wrong pond. A lot of guys that do it yourselfers, the the DIYs, they come to Ukraine, and they meet women on Tinder, on Ukraine day, which I registered with with for, like, what, three days or two days? No. One night. One one day. One night. But before she got In the morning, I already deleted. Yeah. Blow up with -- In payment. Yes. -- rude messages and stuff. So, you know, free dating sites free dating apps, all this, PPL sites, of course. I call it fishing in the wrong pond, and they complain about the caliber of a person that they they they met the meet there, the caliber of ladies.
So, we're trying to get into the mind and the heart of women that register with us, you know, like, basically, if you could share whatever you want to about why, why did you decide to register, you know, with us? I got a agency recommended by a friend, friend of a friend. Let's put it that way. Who got married successfully. I I I've been on, this, I would say, platforms dating platforms for quite a while, partially because I've travel debate for work. So I I lived like for seven years outside of Ukraine. I've been also like an international environment quite. I would say maybe be a big part of my life. I I know quite a few very nice international couples. And say comparing profiles on the of the guys, right, on on the platforms that are, let's say, free like Tinder.
I can say it's there's a lot of frustration that, like, I'm talking from my personal, you know, point of view. Like, when you, when you scroll and the guy doesn't even take care, you know, does make effort to put a decent, you know, profile to explain what he's looking for what his personality is and there is like zero interest then to go further. And with the with the your agency, I guess, What you get is, you get a really pre filtered, choice of of men who are I would say very committed, to do this not very easy step, you know, to go and look overseas like William. I know he didn't travel that much. So for him, Europe, and Ukraine being very exotic even for Europe was something very new. So I could see that on the first date how overwhelming these experiences for them.
So I do appreciate how big and challenging the step is for American guys or European guys. How there is a lot of prejudice about our women too, unfortunately. But from talking from a woman perspective. I can see, you gotta say quality choice of people who are there to, ready, let's say, to make a big step in life. And and then it's, of course, up to you, like, how you you develop your relationship if you, you know, match, if you if you have this, you know, chemistry, etcetera. But you do this, like, pre matching thing that is very important that causes I can say a lot of my girlfriends. I've I have advice the agency to three so far. So I can hear it. For many, many girls in Ukraine, how frustrating it is to be on this, online dating platforms.
Thanks for sharing only. You know, I would be remiss if I didn't kind of expand on this by asking you because you're so articulate about this point. Which is hard to find. And your English is absolutely native. Perfect. So it's like, the golden opportunity. Well, what what do you What kind of reaction do you get for your girlfriends when you recommend a marriage agency in Ukraine? You know, what do they say? What's their reaction? I cannot say all are ready to go, like, on a second day to get and register. I don't know why, but there is still a bit of, yeah, like, subjective attitude towards marriage agencies. Like, maybe people do not believe this can be something, you know, genuine because, like, we are just like to, you know, two chats because that are just, let's say, sat next to each other, and we are somehow planning for this to work.
But I guess some of them met William. Many of them saw our wedding pictures, and of course, knowing it from a friend sounds then very different. Yeah. When when you get somebody's, like, actual real, experience, to fall. Thanks. And and generally, so generally, as I understand, they're hesitant, and they're they're very hesitant. Yeah. But they need to be convinced that, oh, this is a good agency so that Yeah. And you find that they have negative past experiences or just negative gossip from other girlfriends? Or what's their overall opinion of marriage agencies in Ukraine? I would say it's more about, generic, like concern how it can work, let's say, overseas. So you don't get that much time to know the person and you make this big step, like, you live your, you know, your life basically behind in your country and and you relocate.
But but then what I bring say on a on an opposite side of it, but but instead you get the person who are you are probably failing to find on other platforms that you can rely on, right, that that, you know, ticks your boxes in in most cases. Is. And then it doesn't really maybe it's not that big of a, concern them where you live. It's just it's just, who you live with. Right? So Mhmm. Yeah. Okay. Thank you. So, honey? Can you please share us, you'll love story with us. We'd love to hear. Whatever you wanna share about your overall love story. We we, you know, the world would love to hear it. How stupid to work with you guys? Cupid. You get to tell her, I you're gonna I know. You're gonna Like Like like us, for example, just while you guys gather your thoughts.
We met in front of Ocean Plaza when there was a bomb threat. So we met with a bang. Well, actually luckily there's no bang. Yeah. No bad. But police Yeah. Ambulance and very strange to do. Another at least, spoke English, of course. I remember I can quickly share my thoughts and William will, actually. For me, it was I would say till the date of our marriage when I saw this, he gave me, like, a little gift and there were some nice I'm very touching words, written on it. Maybe till that day, I didn't realize that we are actually getting to this point. Because for me, things happened very quickly. I I'm type of a person that needs time to get attached to somebody. So I I think and that, like you called William, a man of action.
I totally relate to that. There is a lot of success in this story is on on his actions. How fast he, you know, acted, how he showed that he is serious, how he actually proposed to me on our second, on his second visit to Ukraine. Right? Which was one month after he left Ukraine. So He came to Ukraine on November, twenty nineteen. We had three dates in total, I guess, on that in the first time. Yeah. Yeah. Then he came back one month later. We met our parent, we met my parents at that point of time, and he gave me, he proposed to me on our on a Orthodox Christmas, which was January seventh. And then I went to apply for American visa, the Terry visa because I wanted to to to visit him in his place to see, you know, where he lives, to see his country a bit.
And then COVID came. And, of course, especially during this year, where people are unable to meet, you need to make an effort to sustain that, you know, little threat that connects you. And I can say William did, for that communication to continue. So then I came finally to the United States in summer, for the first time, some in twenty twenty. And then it was kind of already clear that, you know, we need to go further because we were already engaged and we were attend and looking at, which immigration process we are opting to choose. So and then, yeah, in November, the the wedding took place. So it it took literally one year. Being distant from each other. So for me, it's it's quite quite a fast process.
World wind. Yeah. Yeah. Two people met, who know what they want to hear and just move ahead. Right? Yeah. There's no delay. Yeah. Very cool. Thanks for sharing, Lily. Mhmm. Okay, sir. You're up next. Well, I arrived on a Sunday And then that that same night, I'm when I went, Willie, and, after the date was over, I immediately called my friend back here and like, dude, I I I I'm I'm I know I found her. I got him from I was blown away. I couldn't and so, you know, a couple days go by and, you know, would you guys, I kept telling the ladies in the in your office. I said, I wanna cancel the rest of the dates and then focus on And they kept recommended. No. No. No. Don't do that. And I said, yeah.
Yeah. Yeah. Oh, that's what I wanna do. So my last the last couple of days, we went on, three three or four the last time. Last couple of days. I was there the first time. Yeah. We spent we spent together pretty much. Yeah. Yeah. The last I think it was three or four days. Yeah. And so, that's when I started. So, you know, I'd I'd like to come back. I got no plans for Christmas. And she said, well, you can put up with my family. I'm going up to, to see them for new years of Christmas. You can come. So that's not a month later. I came back. And, a little bit before that's when I was I bought I got the ring and I was like, you know, let me let me see how we are because this time we'll actually be spending twenty four seven together and see how we get along then.
And it was it was just such a great time and I there was no down in my mind. I feel like it was, was the one I've been searching for. So the proposal was kinda dumb. Wasn't, She beneficial. Yes. Yeah. If people if, people in America know there's the movie of Christmas story where the where the kid's dad hides the rifle behind something else, And he's like, Hey, what's that over there behind that? And that's kinda what I did with her. I got to her, the pres the presents were open. I said, Hey, you forgot one. It's back there in the corner. Pulled it out. It was a great the Christmas tree. Yeah. It was under Christmas tree. And so, after that, we we've, like, messaged each other in, like, all day throughout the day on Viber.
And, because, you know, communication is important. You gotta keep that up especially when you're long distance. And we have, every Sunday, we talk live like this. Mhmm. And we did that. And of course, she was supposed to come And two weeks before she was supposed to arrive in March, that's when we win the lockdown. So you can imagine the panic Uh-huh. Especially on my side. I was like, oh, no. What's gonna happen? What are we gonna do now? And, yeah, it wasn't wasn't until July, we found out how a path she could come here. You know, you have to go through with the country that's not on the Band list and it's it was a whole ordeal, but She finally made it and she approved of everything here for the most part.
I don't think she's too fond of my dog waking up at five in the morning jumping on her. And you don't snore, but the dog does. Right? Yeah. The dog shakes the windows. And he's the rotty. Right? A ratty. Yeah. This is a mountain dog. There are two of them. Actually, they are beautiful dogs, and, I think that what William also mentioned already. It's also very important for me how the person treats animals and environment. I couldn't possibly date somebody who is, who does hunting, for example. And and he is so good with his dogs I mean, they have beautiful both of them. So I think that also brings it, like, nice part of his cell. And and Lily, I'm just curious. Is is it normal to introduce a man to your parents So, you know, so quickly.
Let's say I'm lucky with my parents, I guess. I'm I mean, first of all, I'm not I've been living away from them, like, for seventeen years. And, they trust me a lot. Let's put it that way. And of course, they were wanting me like settle down, you know, find a guy. They didn't meet a lot of guys, I should say. And then when William, it was literally on his way back from his first street. I remember that he was taking disconnection in Germany. And he sends me. So before I even reach in US, he sends me what do you say if I come over Christmas? And I'm like, I'm like, this Christmas, I have plans. I'm going to my parents and plus on top of that, my dad had his six his anniversary, January third.
So that was a lot of my relatives were enlightened. Right? It couldn't be that I could hide him. And I'm I'm like, oh, god. This is gonna be, like, very a big exposure. Better work. Right? It's better work. I was I was worried. But then we had very I think my family tried to make him feel nice. Even though of course not, like, my sister speaks English, my brother lost English English, and that's it. And, they were I think they were trying to comfort him so that he doesn't feel out of flight completely. And and then the rest of the family were, like, shocked. Like, you know, Lila brought somebody who is this guy, how did it happen? But and nice, I think. Yeah. Yeah. We had a I had a great time.
Mhmm. I remember William told that they give him a lot. It's what my parents also do because they cannot talk. So, okay. And and what is great about him, he accepts it, you know, with great issues. So whatever he is, given. He says, oh, wow. This is wonderful. All I can make. And this is so important. Yeah. That's so important. Isn't it isn't it, especially in, Slavic culture, you know, Ukraine culture. It's very important to win over the in laws, right, that they like you for the relationship. Right? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Mhmm. Also introduced you very fast. Yeah. We could answer that question if we're gonna be back in the hot seat. How quickly did you introduce me to your parents? I don't know.
It was like Yeah. I don't know. I think it was the third date or something. No, Joel. Okay. Which day was it? No. No. No. We live in Ukraine. You know, we have no, like, but still it was We don't have big hurry, but it did it did happen fast too. Okay. What date do you think it was? Not thirty? Maybe after one month or One month? Okay. After one month. We'll go with that. I think it was sooner. Thank you. Show me. You sound crazy. I'm so crazy. It it was it was quick and and her parents, you know, it's not always the case. Right? When when It's just not always the case that, the parents like a foreigner. You know, there's a lot of prejudice to to foreigners, especially you know, a foreigner stealing your daughter and taking her to a faraway land.
It's, no, they like me. Thank god. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That's true. And stuff. Yeah. Because they live in Ukraine. Yeah. Somebody's asking a question. What would you prefer? What would you prefer to go to that if William could have to stay in Ukraine and have your life here, or go to America? Actually, my family doing system. He progressed with his Russian speaking and that he could come over to to live in Ukraine. I cannot exclude this, to be honest. But at this point of time, I mean, I understand his job cannot be done remotely. Plus, I mean, he has a, you know, his home here. Again, his dogs are here. So without me crying at least in the United States, I guess, I cannot say, that we are not trying.
We will try. And then we'll see what happens. We we even discussed this because I was looking for jobs and, I'm in wind industry and most of winter companies are in the West Coast. So William even said he's happy to relocate if, you know, we need to. So Well, that's great. Yeah. You should be in the solar business in Florida. Right? Yeah. Over energy, not wind energy. Yeah. Was it gonna just say about about that? And it's, how do you find it, Lily? Because, you know, you're very professionally a accomplished, highly educated, highly intelligent per, you know, person and to to, you know, go to America and How important is that that you get professional, you know, you get a job that's kind of commensurate with your your skills, you know, and because social status has a play, let's face it.
We live in a social pecking order world. But how how is that? How is that? How do you experience that? That worries me a bit because, say for my country, I know what I cost I I I know what I can expect. And let's say, compared, maybe partially due to International experience partially due to my English, I'm I can choose. Let's put it that way. Which role to take? In the States, I understand my my English is not anymore, you know, a plus. This is just, prerequisite that puts me on the market. And I do understand there might be a bit of downshifting here for me, which, I hope will be just a temporary thing because, yeah, I mean, work has been a big part of my life so far. The only, let's say, thing that I can put above it would be my family, like, you know, I I do hope we will have kids.
So that would definitely, you know, give me, some time. Not to concentrate or work too much. But but that's important. For me, this is important. Yeah. I I guess this. I also think that this personally, some accomplishment at work would make me a more, I would say balanced partner. Well, thanks for answering that. I know it's It's a question that comes up a lot and it's hard to hard to get an answer, you know, on this on this question for a lot of guys wondering. Because Ukrainian culture, Ukrainian ladies are so highly educated and, you know, I often wonder this too, you know, especially somebody highly, you know, like doctor, for example, you go to America. You have to start at square one.
Mhmm. You know, medical one zero one how to stitch up a lab rat Yep. Yeah. I mean, difficult. So, honey, next question. What do you love most about premium? He is all excited now. It's my turn. It's my turn. Well, I I'm he is a a person of, really great and warm heart. And he is like he shows his feelings and, He makes me feel like appreciated in this relationship. He he does, you know, very sweet, romantic things like, like he would send me flowers when I had the bad day at work, and that happens quite often. I mean, when I'm in Ukraine, he would send me flowers, so, to the office that I don't back to. There was a very impressive, I would say. Welcomeing in the US. When it came my first time in July, the whole, like, the the entrance, you know, the layout, the and layout of his living room and kitchen was decorated with Ukrainian flags.
I don't know. It didn't take a lot of effort. It it was like, what, I don't know, fifty flags, little sample. More than that. Yeah. And there was a big sign on the wall. Welcome Lilya. I mean, I was really attached. And, I I took a picture of that. I sent to my mom, and she was like, oh god, what happened? Are you in Ukrainian consulate or something? Because it was, like, all over the place. So, yeah, I I think he, he's a person of great personality and this yeah, this is, the most important, I guess. Thanks for me. I even found a Ukrainian bow tie. Really? Wow. One was wearing, American one and the second one was wearing. Yeah. I hear Anna. Mhmm. Wow. Cool. I've got I've got so many Gucci questions for you guys here, but you're we we've kinda answered them as we chat here.
So that's pretty cool. Here's a a little bit more serious one. What what do you think is the most, you know, the biggest difference you had to work through? Life isn't all the better roads, especially international relationships. Right? What about us, honey? Well, the oh, that sometimes, being long distance and you message people, message each other. Sometimes it doesn't come across. It's how you hope it will come across or what you're thinking. So that can be be careful, you know, if you're saying a joke or something that might not come across as a joke on the other side, Yeah. I think I've had that happen once or twice. Yeah. We had a bit of misunderstanding that. Yeah. Messaging cuts a lot of, emotions out of of communication, unfortunately.
And especially, like, human we are both working. Right? He would be even texting while he is driving, which is not a good thing. And I don't do that. And I could be like on a comp call. So it's quick. It's not very explicit, and unfortunately can be misleading. Yeah. So be be careful when And and that's with perfect English. I mean, Lily has perfect English. Can you imagine couples that, like Honestly, I not do disrespect somebody. I truly do not understand how this works for people who cannot communicate. I know Steve and Irene were just on two days ago, and she I mean, she's rapidly trying to learn English, but yeah, she doesn't speak, maybe, you know, whatever low level two or something English, but they're they're making it work.
And the Steve is little bit like William and, really pouring on the, you know, just like you could see when when we talk to them. They have the same love language. And, I don't have that question, but, I probably should. Do you guys do you guys know about love language? Or do you have similar love languages primary, secondary? I'm just curious. I'm not sure I know mine, to be honest. Yeah. I know mine. What's yours? I think touch touching is one. Tuck tile. I'm I'm I'm saying. Yeah. For me, it's easier to touch than to say. To touch. So here's this touch too. Yeah. Mhmm. That's the same with ours. Primary is the touch and it it is very important. We're heading that direction for matchmaking in the future.
You know, matching by touch, love language. It is so critically important. It's Yeah. No. I should only buy that. I cannot help. No. Actually, William, you're, again, really lucky as you already know. But, most Ukrainian women touch is quite low. I mean, it's at least maybe if you're lucky, it's second. Very rare it's first. It's usually gifts. And, like, we're starting to profile this more on the lady size and the guy said, guys number one is touch and number two is acts of service, you know, from our hundreds and hundreds of applications. So Yeah. Yeah. So anyway, about communication. So about Okay. I will ask, because the question to William, right? So William, when did you go in for the first kiss.
You don't remember? Well, I think it's because that's me. No. He was staying in this, miller of a hotel. I wish you had a joke about that. Yeah. It was on the second date. Yeah. Because the first was one, the very first date he arrived and I mean, I realized it wasn't only my date that he had on the list. So I I didn't know where it was let's say going after the first date. Yeah, it was second date when he invited them like me specifically to go out. Yeah. Mhmm. It was at at at the entrance of that lovely taxi. Yeah. For the place. Now you have, your, your special place in Kiev. And repeat. And remember how it was. Very cool. Thanks for sharing. Thank you. Yeah. That's that place is right around the corner from the office.
Yeah. Yeah. View location. Mhmm. Yeah. Okay, guys. Next question. When it comes to money, how would you classify yourself? Gilia generally as a saver or a spender. It's very interesting. I'm saving. I don't know. You're saving. I'm spending. I admitted it last time. I have like, I would say money is quite important to me as a means of, security. I I also try to explain it once to William. I think it's also coming from, Slavic culture that with a lot of, I don't know, volatility in our history. And I'm not coming from, let's say, a wealthy family. So when I started working, money gave me, you know, self assurance and and stability in life. So definitely in my marriage, I wouldn't look for this situation to get worse.
And I I, I can save up if I need to for for a certain goal, but I also understand that, like, you know, saving up just for the sake of saving just because things are weak, let's say, cannot allow this because we are not on that level. I think we need to allow us some little tricks sometimes just just to keep, you know, this energy, manage it floating and circulating. So I think I'm balanced in there. I I'm I wouldn't spend money, just waste money. But I there are things that are important, I guess, that we should, like, afford in in lives. Great. Thank you. What about William? Sabra. My mom my mom is Polish and and she grew up, you know, with almost next to nothing. So I was brought up, like, like not be wasteful, I would say.
Like, yeah, I think, like, I would buy in a expensive car is, like, unnecessary, and I would just go for something. I'm gonna say more in life instead of having to have the best things or just try to go with what I need. So I guess I'd be able to be savor. Yeah. Yeah. Mhmm. Mhmm. Cool. Any, I was gonna I was gonna share in her last night, and I was wearing a oh, I shouldn't say anything. Foot in my mouth. She was wearing a a beautiful black sequence sequin, Oh, yeah. Yeah. I'm I'm sleeping on the couch again. Okay? I was gonna say how much you paid for it. But I mean, overall, I just wanna say about Slavic culture. I mean, I grew up dirt poor. I mean, we didn't have running water. You know, our idea of going out for dinner was to go to McDonald's or KFC when we drove all the way into the the big city.
So I grew up having nothing. So I do like to splurge and spend, but at the same time, I'm definitely an investor they're a saver. And n is the same. And and I find like our family budget is on the same page. You know, we don't squabble about monies. So, you know, we're just always on the same page. And she whenever she spends, it's always like, You paid how much for that? Are you kidding? Is that on layaway? Is that twelve payments or what is that? Ten dollars for? What? No. I mean, it's about it should be balanced, you know, like, I think media would say it's it's right. You know, it don't it shouldn't forget that it's live, you know, you need to have unpleasant surprises and, you know, get emotion from, you know, why why make this money, you know, like, but it shouldn't be, like, extremely like, you know, stu stupid, when you waste your money, you know, or, like, just, like, go everywhere.
It's maybe also came from that I grown up in not wealthy. I can say also poor family. Yeah. And we cannot, like, simple things for it, but I, I appreciate everything because I have the main things from my parents that I love, and this was the amazing and nothing else. I I I wanted change, like, if I would a second time before, and I I would choose the same family because I have everything I want. Yes. And So maybe if that's attitude to money, like And and it's really important in choosing, you know, in finding your half. I find this money blueprint question. If it's really different, like, you know, if I couldn't be with somebody that always wants to be lavish, you know, and Gucci this or or whatever.
It's just it's not who I am. I you know, and I think that's, an important part. So it's cool that you guys are clearly on the same family budget page. So that's as as are we? That's cool. Guys, can you tell what's your number one tip for guys? That, what that you've learned from your relationship with William, you questions for the question for me. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I don't know, man. It would sound a bit, romantic. Just follow your heart. In a way that, I do believe that our heart our inner self can tell if this person next to you is is the right or not. So when when they do take the risk of coming, you know, to to the country that is miles away. And, when they meet girls and when there is something tickling, then then they should not disregard it and and really, yeah, yeah, follows it pass.
Because because, maybe I'm talking from my perspective a lot. As I said, it could be that those little tickles are overwhelmed by by your you know, what if, you know, concerns, what if this is not going on. So and you just don't even allows this to happen. Right. Follow your heart. It's exactly Anna's advice to Like you even have a song like that. Right? Follow your heart. No. It's mine. And, okay. How about this one for who is it for William? Biggest fear about starting a new big chapter in your life. Lilliams for both, maybe. Because fears fears, you know, fears, box us all in. They control our life. And if we don't overcome them, we just live a tiny little safe life. Right? So it's it's cool to understand when people are willing to talk like this.
What were your fears and, you know, how did you overcome them? I think one of my biggest fears was, I didn't want her to be disappointed with anything because she's, you know, giving up everything to come over here with me, and I don't wanna there's no, like, bottom line disappointment. So, yeah, I would that's what I would think about the most. Just come over here and then anything. My house or my grass isn't green enough or anything. Cool. I think I think Steve, has got the same thing. He's he's changing the flooring in in parts of the house. Yeah. I put I put a new carpet down before she came. Yeah. That's cool. That's love. Right? That's love. You don't wanna disappoint. You want you want your your partner to be happy.
That's cool. Mhmm. And then okay. Number one tip. What was this? Oh, okay. Other one there. Other way here. Yeah. Yeah. It's about I'm gonna tip. Two William cash. No more tip for guys. It's the long distance, it can be difficult and trying at times, but don't give up. It's I'll say you get out of it what you put into it. So keep the communication and let her know what you're thinking. So there's no surprises. And Like I said, just don't, put on a fake show because it'll come out eventually, and then she will be disappointed. I'd say honesty is that the one of the biggest things you need to have in a relationship like this gotta be honest about everything, everything. Mhmm. Great advice. I was thinking.
You guys were so cute. Okay. Which question for you? Uh-huh. Biggest fear about leaving Ukraine, you know, moving to America, starting over again, leaving family, friends, everything behind. Yeah, I think I slightly touched that before, like, this socially fitting in. Also because I'm I'm a city girl. Like, I've lived in cities, and Florida is more of a, like, one story, one story place. Plus I don't drive. Not yet. And it's it's difficult for me get around Saphon, like a little puppy, you know, on on William's will's. Whenever he's out of the house, can pick me with or not. But, I think it's more about picking it in South Shelley. Yeah. Like, finding, you know, friends and, finding a job that would be, like, satisfying for my, like, married life now.
I don't I don't have any concerns with with William. It's more about out outside second census. Yeah. Cool. Great. Yeah. Driving is, is a big one. What is it? Seven million acres of everglades. Gotta watch those alligators too. Yeah. We went down there last time. We've been there. Yeah. Mhmm. Cool. Yeah. I I love to go into the alligator wrestling competitions. Really cool. So guys, please, we're about to end here. Any burning questions? I see a lot of chatting going on. Matt is Matt, Matt here is, one of our clients that, has been married three years now to Victoria, but Victoria spoke a word of English, pretty much, and Matt, not a word of Russian when they got married. So if anyone knows about that language challenge in marriage, it's it's Matt.
And he's stuck in America right now and his wife and boy are in Kiev. But I know she's studying English very aggressively. Okay. So, what was the main reason you chose […] And what's the strongest, compliment, he could give, […] experience. Okay? That that's for will. I mean, gas. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I would say when I was looking into it, your website and the pictures, they seem like real. They were like real people, real pictures in everyday life. It wasn't like a model airbrush, you know, every girl's a model, basically, and, like professionally shot, your pictures were you see what the girls really look like. And, and, I like your videos a lot. You had a lot of interviews and, do's and don'ts, and that would oh, that was really, really helpful.
In my search. So I say those are the two biggest things that I liked about the agency. Cool. And you, William, I call I call William a virgin because he he had never come to Ukraine before. He had never tried before. He just literally chose us out of the gate. Right? Right? Uh-huh. Yeah. Literally. That was it. And there's a there's a lot of options, but I'm But there is no lucky to get a virgin, you know. But, yeah, you're really, really stood out from all the other ones. And, you know, I I just, you know, we have a lot of do it yourself first, for example, watching right now. I know all the names that are chatting away. And, you know, well, hey, we'll find out. But these guys, there's seasoned veterans that have been to Ukraine five times ten times and have spent usually ten thousand dollars or north of that.
But they get nickeled and dimed to death and it takes them ten years. And frankly speaking, most of them are never successful because as I said earlier in the broadcast, five hundred marriages per year in a billion dollar industry. So it really, you know, if you get married, you you won the Super Bowl. And then a guy like William comes along. Never been here. Actually, let me ask you this. When did you when did you start looking into Ukraine as possibility to find a good bride. And then when did you do it? When did you pull the trigger? That, I don't know. I don't know. It was just kind of a a whim. Maybe it wasn't really planned or anything. Is this similar to this? Let me look into this. And then that's what I've started seeing your videos on how everything is and how great they are and That's what really pretty much led to it, your videos.
And how much time, did you look into it? Basically, you know, from the idea from the time, you had the thought, oh, maybe Ukraine, I could go to find a a good bride. And then the, you know, to the time you came, you decided with us and paid and came. It might have been three months before. I would say I I tried the I tried the PPL thing and that -- Mhmm. -- after maybe a week, I started it started to look kinda fishy for me. Mhmm. And that's when I started doing research into it and who to, you know, how to go about it, these different agencies. And Right. So, yeah, it's probably about three three months before I kind of contact with you guys. You know, and like I say, it's incredible. Three months from the time you had the idea, Ukraine, till you came, you met Lily.
I can answer this question, by the way. It's a easy one. First, you met literally on your first date. You paid eight grand. You don't whine and complain about that. Like, a lot of people would you know, that are trying to nickel and dime their way to find their future, their find their family. And I just find it. You know, I don't know what the word is. Ironic, I guess. That some guys take forever, spend a fortune, waste ten years, and they think that's the route to go. You know? And William, you come along and just do everything right and make everybody else look like. I don't know. You show everybody else up. That's for sure. Whatever you would say it. Let me can I answer ID IDMM's question about the the socials?
Yeah. Yeah. Because that's a a big thing over there, I guess. And, of course, I was that's when I was looking around. I I noticed those. And just from my point of view, it was just a bunch of old guys. I it you know, I was forty one At the time, I owe forty two. Say about that. Forty two. How old am I? Now you're fully free. But, it looked like, like, all these guys are older, and I was reading a description on it like, basically, you go to a party with, you know, that, like, these these guys, like, ten guys or whatever and a bunch of women. And I guess you gotta introduce yourself in on your own, and that was something I'm not good at in the first place. Just a approaching a stranger And, and then it said the descriptions were that day after you have breakfast with everybody and they talk about your experience.
I'm like, I don't that doesn't sound like fun. And then the whole thought of going to a party to meet somebody And I'm, you know, I'm thinking, well, what if I see somebody I'm interested in? And there's somebody else talking to her, and then it becomes a competition. And I'm, like, I can do that here. I wanna fly halfway around the world to do what I can do here and and just the whole thing seemed like a nightmare and not fun at all. So that's that's why I didn't look I didn't even consider it the socials. It just didn't sound like fun at all. Cool. Thanks for that. More more one on one experience to get to know the person. Mhmm. Basically. Well, the true the truth is if you analyze the five hundred marriages that happen in a given year, approximately like that, you find out ninety five percent of them come from individual, you know, dating experiences, not from socials.
It's a very low probability of success. If you approach this from a scientific, perspective as well and look at. Like I say, success leaves clues, you know. You can see you can just follow success. Other people that were successful And, but anyway, I'm pretty excited. I don't know what the outcome will be, but for, ding ding ding, you know, do it yourself versus, versus agencies, and we'll see who comes out the winner. I don't know how long it will it'll probably go on for months because we're gonna interview like you guys successful couples, not only through us, but through however, how whoever got married, to a beautiful Ukrainian lady, you know, whatever country. However, you did it. Please come on, tell your story.
We'll tally, line by line, the same line expense items. How much it costs you at the end of the day in terms of in terms of, you know, or dollars in terms of time that you wasted to start your life and start your family, and then heartbreak hotel. How many nights did you spend in heartbreak hotel? And we will see really, which is the smarter route. And I think that I hope that's gonna answer a lot of guys' questions that really They really don't know which route to go. You know, that they're trying to do the beer budget thing because they think that's the smart route. And, we'll we'll we'll see. I hope it answers Skye's questions. So One one. Pardon me? That answered your questions. The age age difference for sixty seven.
I would try to keep it within ten years. Mhmm. I was just blessed. Yeah. Six or is it six years? Six and a half? I can I can also, like, put a plus one into that? I would say that, I I do understand a lot of maybe all the men are looking for younger women. That can be misleading experience. Ukrainian women do look good also, you know, forty plus, fifty, you name it. So I would recommend to the guys really to to be looking at, shorter, age difference, smaller age difference. Yeah. Let's talk about that, really, because, you know, guys are really rare. You gotta know to have a woman on that is gonna be honest with you on this, tricky question because there's okay. Big slippery slope. Right? So for you yourself, Lilya, what, what do you think is, you know, for yourself, for example, a maximum age gap, for you?
I don't know. Like me, personally, younger somehow I tended to date all demand. Maybe I was, like, looking for more supervision. I don't know, you know, like, I I really wanted somebody more mature. But then, with age saying, like, I'm thirty seven now. And, if it it it then becomes a more it then becomes a question if say I wanna I do wanna have kids, right? And, I I would then be looking at the person who is more or less in the same age league with me just for that reason. Because the older we become, I guess this age gap should become smaller. Because because that it's it's not only multicultural than difference because we will all have them in international couples. It's also a age difference that could be one of the, you know, not contributing party or relationship.
So my my advice really to the guys don't buy just a good looking experience also look into a long term perspective. I can I can also say from experience like having knowing divorced Ukrainian man and knowing you divorce Ukrainian women, divorce makes a man more reluctant to do another marriage in Ukraine? This is what I've seen. But it does, woman, I would say more flexible, adjustable, more wise in her next marriage. So, yeah, look look for those options. So what what just to quantify it, what was the, you know, maximum age gap for you then to to date? Oh, wow. That was I think it was twenty years. Twenty years. Oh, I was twenty five. I was twenty five. The guy was forty five. Yeah. Okay. Okay.
And generally speaking, to help guys out on washing the live, because it it is the juiciest, hottest, most confusing topic in this industry is age gap. And and it is really an all encompassing topic that is very tricky from every single angle. So to have your opinion is very invaluable. What are your girlfriends like on age gap? What kind what kind age gap for a guy they look for and and why? Like, the average Ukrainian woman, what does she for. I would say for us traditional would be not more than five. There you go, guys. Not more than five. So so even ten years is not exactly normal. It's a bit of a stretching even ten years. Again, what, depending on which age group we look at. Right? Because, say, I find Western men more good looking than say Ukrainian when men as they go older.
Right? So let's say if you look at an average forty five year old person, in Ukraine or in the west, probably the Western guy would be more good looking. But, if you talk about women, I don't think that works similar for women. So, yeah, like, thirty five plus forty five plus a woman could be equally, you know, interesting for for a man. So I could even say that actually my friends, my girlfriends, they would be even looking at dating younger men. The older they pick up. Interesting. Yeah. Yeah. The there is that side too in Ukraine where are Ukrainian women, date, date younger? It's it happens. And and why do you think Ukrainian women? Maybe why did you look to a foreign man? And and what about other Ukrainian women generally?
You think? Like I said, I had, I'm not quite a few families, international families because I've always worked for international companies. So this is most of my friends, most maybe come from from my work. I did try dating our man, and, oh, I mean, European, like, west sorry, Eastern European, like, Russia, Ukrainian. I kind of I think it's some thing, it it depends on on on your personal experience. I do know really great Ukrainian couples, you know, man being great husbands and fathers. I cannot call all Ukrainian men. Say not, interesting, not appropriate for dating or or married life. But I guess with Western Man, they're more, They're more explicit about if they, want to get married, if they allow somebody, they would show it to you.
It's it's not a shame, you know, for for a man to open up and and and and show the feelings and and be very I would say determined on taking this commitment. Without a man, what I saw, unfortunately, was a lot of yeah, relax and see for them after they take thirty five, either having, some not very good family or married experience before or just because they don't feel like, you know, settling in and starting your family. And they for them, it's normal not to want to be married. That's why you have all these tenders that, you know, don't cost you anything to go out with somebody and, show no commitment. I guess that's it. Thank you for clarifying that. It's really enlightening. Hey. Yeah. Yeah.
Very much. And you're so articulate. It's fantastic. Well, listen, you guys. I I learned something new that I was too shy to ask you guys from this live stream. And I'm, you know, overjoyed to hear that you guys wanna start a family. So I wish twenty twenty one, here's the pitter patter of, little baby feet for you two lovebirds. And, yeah, that's my biggest wish for you guys because, you know, in Ukraine, they say children are the flowers of life. And I think that's one of the most beautiful things about this culture is they they value family and children so much. And I just find this value is just fizzling away to almost nothing in in America, North America. So Yeah. Thank you. Same to you guys.
Thanks to you guys. Same to you. I know you're also planning on Yeah. Thank you guys. Thank you guys for, you know, for everything. Yeah. For sure.
